House rule

1. The rules apply to the entire area of the Gyula Castle Bath.
2. The price of the service includes the service fee, therefore the spa employee may not demand or accept any other benefits.
3. The use of the spa or other services may only be made against a valid entrance ticket or pass. The entrance ticket is represented by an electronic watch to be worn in the spa area, which can be checked by the spa staff during the stay in the spa. Wearing the watch received upon entry is mandatory throughout the spa area. If the Guest loses the watch entitling them to use the service in the Castle Spa, they are required to pay a watch replacement fee of HUF 5,000.
4. The cash register opens at 8 am (swimming pool at 6 pm), and the cash register closes 45 minutes before the closing of the Gyula Castle Bath.
5. The opening hours of the Gyula Castle Bath may be changed by the bath management in justified cases (technical failure, weather, etc.), of which the guests will be notified via their usual means.
6. The ticket entitles you to a number of entries depending on its type within the validity period.
7. The ticket is only valid for the service for which it was issued.
8. Children under the age of 10 may only enter the spa area under the supervision of a parent or authorized adult, and groups of children may only enter the spa area with a responsible companion.
9. Guests eligible for discounted tickets:
9.1. Under 6 years of age with the purchase of a registration ticket
9.2. persons with valid student and pensioner ID cards
10. The Gyula discount can only be used with a valid, pre-purchased so-called "Gyula ID" card.
11. You can only enter from the Hunguest Hotel Gyula with a wristwatch issued to guests of the Hunguest Hotel Gyula.
12. When entering the spa, please hand over your pre-purchased tickets or passes to the cashiers for inspection.
13. Entry points and cash desks are monitored by a constantly operating video system.
14. Please comply with the instructions of the spa staff and the regulations set out in the rules. Anyone who does not comply with the provisions despite the instructions or warnings may be denied access to the service.
15. Everyone can use the spa services only at their own risk (recommended bathing time in spa pools: 2 x 30 minutes per day), and medical services can only be used upon medical advice.
16. It is forbidden to jump into the pools with a hot body or to swim underwater for a long time.
17. There is an increased risk of slipping in some areas of the spa. In order to avoid accidents, the use of appropriate non-slip slippers is mandatory in the pool areas and in areas with an increased risk of slipping.
18. The bath is not allowed for people suffering from infectious or skin diseases.
19. A drunk person may not be present in the spa area (especially with regard to medical treatment) or use any services.
20. The lockers are operated by an electronic wristwatch given upon entry.
21. Anyone who intentionally or negligently causes damage to the spa's furnishings, equipment, or the park's vegetation may demand compensation from Gyulai Várfürdő Kft.
22. In order to comply with health and official regulations and to ensure the undisturbed rest of bath guests, it is prohibited to:
22.1. use the pool without using the hygiene shower and foot wash basin
22.2. to stay in the bath area without a swimsuit or a sauna towel in the designated area. It is not allowed to enter the pools in clothing that, due to the size or material of its surface, poses a concern from a public health, water quality, public morals or accident prevention perspective. In view of this, the pools may be used in swimsuits that reach no more than the knees on the lower body and no more than the shoulders on the upper body
22.3. use public pools - where required - without a swimming cap
22.4. using the pools with oily, sandy bodies
22.5. eating, using toiletries, disturbing the peace of others in the pools
22.6. bringing fragile objects (glasses, cups, etc.) into the pools or pool areas
22.7. to bring balls (except beach balls), inflatable mattresses, diving equipment (except with permission) or any object capable of causing accidents or injuries into the pools
22.8. use of deep water for those who cannot swim
22.9. jumping into the water from any point in the pools other than the starting stones
22.10. swimming in the hot water pools (except the Lovarda medicinal swimming pool), disturbing the peace of bathers, or endangering their physical integrity
22.11. to occupy the stairs of the common pools
22.12. to wear street shoes or clothes in the indoor pool areas
22.13. littering in the bath area, throwing cigarette butts
22.14. remove or move benches, chairs, swings and other equipment from their places
22.15. to bring any animal into the bath area. The ban does not apply to dogs required for the performance of the duties of the guard dog security service and to assistance dogs (guide dogs, dogs guiding people with disabilities, sound-detecting dogs, seizure detection dogs, personal assistance dogs and therapy dogs), in which cases the animal may be allowed into the area of the Castle Bath. The presence of assistance dogs is not permitted in the open or closed pools, jacuzzis and sitting tubs of the bath designed for bathing purposes - i.e. in the pool area, which is the interior of the pools and in which the assistance dog can directly come into contact with the bath water. Regarding the footbaths, the assistance dog may only come into contact with the water content of the disinfectant footbath for the time it passes through it; a longer stay in it is not permitted. Assistance dogs are not allowed in the outdoor and indoor showers of the spa, however, the assistance dog may wait for its owner in front of the shower. Assistance dogs are not allowed in steam cabins and saunas. Upon entry, the head of the Bath Service checks the assistance dog's distinctive marking and vaccination record (with particular regard to the rabies vaccination and treatment with a broad-spectrum deworming agent). Assistance dogs may not enter the public bath area if they show signs of illness (depression, fever, cough, vomiting, diarrhea) or do not comply with the general hygiene rules. Before entering the public bath, the owner must wipe the assistance dog's eyes, mouth, anus and paws with a wet wipe for disinfection. A guard dog security dog may stay in the Castle Bath area in accordance with the provisions in force prescribing and regulating its use.
22.16. bring a vehicle or bicycle into the spa area and use it during operating hours (except for service vehicles)
22.17. listening to or using a radio, tape recorder, CD, or musical instrument in a way that disturbs others
22.18. to behave in a manner that is contrary to public order, public morality, or good taste
22.19. to hold individual sauna pourings, to pour your own essential oil or other liquid on the sauna stone, to cover the sauna stone. Sauna programs may only be performed by the sauna masters of Gyulai Várfürdő Kft. or by persons in a contractual relationship with the company.
23. The use of electric and mechanical wheelchairs for people with reduced mobility is permitted in certain areas of the spa – without water – but is not permitted in the pool area and bathing water due to accident prevention and public health considerations. The wheelchair must comply with general hygiene rules.
24. Special services (bench rental) can only be provided by the employee responsible for the rental or by purchasing a ticket at the cash desk.
25. Any illness or accident occurring in the spa area must be reported immediately to the nearest spa employee.
26. A trained employee is available to provide first aid in case of any injury or illness to the guest. The spa keeps a record of accidents. Please sign the entry in the "Accident Log" (both in case of agreement and disagreement). The Gyula Castle Bath has liability insurance and accident insurance. Proof of accident insurance entitlement is provided by presenting the entrance ticket. The spa is liable for accidents up to the validity of the accident insurance.
27. The Gyula Castle Bath is not responsible for any damage resulting from the loss of items left unattended in the bath area.
28. Please hand over any found items to the cashier or our security colleague.
29. Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire area of the Gyula Castle Bath, except for the designated outdoor smoking areas.
30. In order to prevent fires, it is prohibited to:
31.1. throw a burning cigarette into a plastic trash can, among combustible waste
31.2. to engage in any activity that causes fire.
32. The operation, opening and closing of the outdoor pools depend on the weather. Information about the operation of the pools is provided by signs posted at the entrances.
33. The duration of use of the bathtub, including undressing and dressing, is 1 hour. Disabled people can bring an attendant with them.
34. Medical services can only be used against tickets purchased at the cash desks and on the basis of a doctor's recommendation. The time of the service is agreed upon by the patient management colleague. The service can only be used at the pre-determined time.
35. Adults are not allowed to use children's pools, except when supervising a child. It is forbidden to soak feet in children's pools.
36. Spa guests can make their comments and complaints in writing in the Customer Book located at all cash registers.
37. Tenants and their employees may enter the spa area with the ID card only for the purpose of working.
38. In the event of equipment maintenance, technical problems, or force majeure, the spa excludes liability for compensation.
39. Photo, video and TV recordings may be made in the Castle Bath area, which may also include visitors. By purchasing an entrance ticket, guests acknowledge the above fact, waive any claims for damages in connection with the recording and the publication of the recordings, and expressly consent to all legal uses.

These policies will enter into force on December 5, 2023, and the previous policies will cease to be valid at the same time.
